Common Questions

A WordPress care plan is ongoing management of a site's updates, backups, security, and uptime, so none of it depends on someone remembering. At minimum that's five things: software updates, automated backups, security monitoring, uptime tracking, and technical support when you need a person. Check that list against any plan you're comparing, because some providers price one or more of those as add-ons. All five are standard on every NoDrama tier.
Most published entry prices we've checked sit between about $40 and $200 a month, and the spread says more about scope than quality. A $60 plan and a $200 plan are usually buying different amounts of work rather than the same work at different prices. What distinguishes them is what's monitored, how fast someone responds, and whether updates get tested before they go live.
NoDrama has three: The Standard at $129, The Higher Standard at $249, and The Highest Standard at $479 a month, whether you pay monthly or yearly. Every feature is on every plan. The tiers differ on how often we back up your site, how fast we respond when it's down or hacked, how many small jobs we take on at once, and how often we test a real restore.
Monthly or yearly. On monthly billing, setup and migration are $149 one-time, and hack cleanups are $50 an hour. On yearly billing the monthly price is the same, but setup, migration, and cleanups are included. Monthly has no minimum term. On yearly billing, you can cancel anytime, and your plan keeps running until the end of the year you've paid for.
Not every site needs it from day one, and it's a fair thing to be skeptical about. What's true of every WordPress site is that risk accumulates quietly: an unpatched plugin here, an update nobody tested there, a backup that turns out to be four months old. None of that feels urgent until the day it does, and by then the backup you need is the one somebody should have made in March.
Monthly plans have no minimum term. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever, with tier changes taking effect from your next billing cycle. On yearly billing, you can cancel anytime, and your plan keeps running until the end of the year you've paid for. If you do leave, you leave holding your latest off-site backup. You shouldn't have to ask for your own data, and we'd rather not be the reason anyone stays.
